Marie, I can totally identify with your fruitcake story! My Mom & I used to make them every Christmas when I was a kid for our big piano recitals. I sort of talked myself into thinking they were good! They were ok, but have fond memories of making them. Now, this picture you have posted of Alton’s recipe you & Paul made…looks and sounds amazing! Will have to try it someday

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I love all the color and sounds. And, the true reason for it being. Yes! Buying now is wonderful and lets us dream of that snowy Christmas instead of the 110heat index we are experiencing today!
